114 executed deals worth 39 million riyals executed in Saudi derivatives market during 2024

The statistical report issued by the Saudi Tadawul Group revealed that the total traded value of the derivatives market during 2024 reached 39 million riyals with 114 executed deals, while the traded quantities reached 3685.

According to the report, the total traded deals during the first quarter amounted to 39 executed deals worth 8.6 million riyals and 1357 traded quantities, distributed over (January) with 18 executed deals worth 589.6 thousand riyals and 139 traded quantities, and in (February) with 16 deals worth 5.4 million riyals and 915 traded quantities, and (March) with 5 deals worth 2.6 million riyals and 303 traded quantities.

The second quarter recorded 54 executed deals worth 21.8 million riyals and 821 traded quantities, distributed over the month of April with 5 executed deals worth 2.8 million riyals and 500 traded quantities, and (May) with 49 executed deals worth 19 million riyals and 321 traded quantities. As for the third quarter, the total deals amounted to 17 deals, worth 8.6 million riyals and 1503 traded quantities, distributed over (July) with 14 executed deals worth 7.8 million riyals and 1302 traded quantities, and (August) one executed deal worth 8.5 thousand riyals and one traded quantity, and in (September) two executed deals worth 736.2 thousand riyals and 200 traded quantities. As for the month of (November), the total executed deals amounted to 4 deals worth 151.3 thousand riyals and 4 traded quantities.

In the third quarter, the total number of deals reached 17, with a value of 8.6 million riyals and 1503 traded quantities, distributed over (July) with 14 executed deals with a value of 7.8 million riyals and 1302 traded quantities, (August) with one executed deal with a value of 8.5 thousand riyals and one traded quantity, and in (September) with two executed deals with a value of 736.2 thousand riyals and 200 traded quantities. As for (November), the total number of executed deals reached 4 deals with a value of 151.3 thousand riyals and 4 traded quantities.
