Saudi Arabia uniquely profits from energy transition, says Energy Minister

Saudi Arabia is the only nation globally that financially benefits from the energy transition, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, said on Monday.
Speaking at the opening session of the fourth Saudi Green Initiative Forum, Prince Abdulaziz emphasized that the Kingdom is actively living through the energy transition rather than merely discussing it.
“Show me any country in the world that demonstrates the effectiveness and progress Saudi Arabia has achieved,” he said, adding, “The Kingdom records new achievements every year.”
The forum, a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s sustainability agenda, underscores the nation’s commitment to advancing its Vision 2030 goals, including a transition to cleaner energy sources while maintaining economic growth.
