Saudi Arabia among 7 least inflationary countries in G20

Data collected by (Maaal) revealed that the inflation rate in the Kingdom during November 2024, which recorded 2%, is among the lowest in the G20.

According to the aggregated data, inflation in China recorded the lowest in the group at 0.2%, while Argentina recorded the highest at 166%.

Data issued by the General Authority for Statistics indicated that residential rents were the most prominent factor in the rise in the annual inflation rate in the Kingdom, as apartment rent prices rose by 12.5% ​​within the housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels section, which recorded an increase of 9.1%.

The Authority indicated that this increase is one of the main factors for the continuation of annual inflation during November 2024, given the large weight that this section represents, as it represents 25.5%.
