It’s Official.. FIFA announces Saudi Arabia will host the 2034 World Cup

Today, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the victory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s file for the FIFA World Cup™ 2034. The Kingdom’s file to host the global football event received unlimited attention, empowerment and support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to the file gaining the confidence of the international community.

The Kingdom’s winning of the hosting, and the historic support it received, is the culmination of the great support the sports sector enjoys from the leadership and the special attention of the Crown Prince, to enhance the Kingdom’s leadership in various sports and global competitions, until it has become today the home of major international sporting events. This interest reflects the confidence of regional and international federations in the Kingdom’s hosting file.

The winning of the hosting of the 2034 World Cup also reflects the positive relations that the Kingdom enjoys with countries around the world, which responded to the Saudi desire.
