GAL signs strategic agreement with MILE to continue training gas tanker drivers

GAL, a subsidiary of the National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO), has signed a strategic agreement with the Middle East Logistics Institute (MILE) to continue training more than 800 gas tanker drivers within the international program for transporting flammable materials.

The agreement aims to raise the efficiency of drivers and enhance safety and quality standards in transporting hazardous materials, in line with GAL’s vision to develop its human resources and achieve operational excellence.

The agreement reflects GAL’s commitment to promoting a culture of safety and innovation in its operations, as it aims to invest in qualifying its drivers according to the highest international standards.

In a statement, Eng. Essam Al Khalifa, CEO of GAL, said: “We are proud of our partnership with MILE, which represents an important step towards enhancing operational efficiency and safety in transporting hazardous materials. Through this initiative, we aspire to ensure the highest levels of quality in transportation operations, and enhance GAL’s role as a leading company in the logistics sector.”
