Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio to launch new model in Europe

William Li, founder, chairman and CEO of Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, announced that Nio will launch its first model under the Firefly brand in Europe in the first half of next year.

Li made the announcement during a question-and-answer session with the media in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, today.

Nio launched the Firefly brand and debuted the first model of the sub-brand at Nio Day 2024 in Guangzhou yesterday.

The BEV model went on pre-sale in China yesterday, priced at $20,390. It will be officially launched in April 2025 in China.
