Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. Appoints Members to Executive and Risk Management Committees

Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Company announced that its Board of Directors, via circular resolution, has approved the appointment of Adel Abalkhail to the Executive Committee and Meshal Alrabiah to the Risk Management Committee. These appointments follow the receipt of a no-objection certificate from the relevant insurance authority.

Adel Abalkhail, a certified professional accountant with 20 years of experience in banking and insurance, brings extensive expertise in areas such as feasibility studies, business planning, financial analysis, accounting standards, financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, and supervision. He holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King Saud University (2002).

Meshal Alrabiah specializes in key areas of risk management, including IFRS 9, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, business continuity management, cybersecurity, and fraud prevention. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in information management from Leeds Metropolitan University.
