A Strategic partnership signed to establish first electric bicycle factory in Saudi Arabia

Green Launch Company for Industry, specialized in developing the clean transportation model, and the Chinese Shenzhen Mixing Factory, signed a strategic partnership to establish the first local electric bicycle factory in Saudi Arabia, according to Eng. Abdullah Al-Subaie, founder of Green Launch Company, revealing that the factory will be on an area exceeding 10,000 meters in Sudair City for Industry and Business.

Al-Subaie explained that the factory will begin production and full operation by 2026, to constitute a new starting point in the electric bicycle industry in the Kingdom, revealing that the production capacity is estimated at about 50,000 electric bicycles annually.

He said: This partnership seeks to localize the industry in Saudi Arabia and reduce dependence on imports by manufacturing electric bicycles locally. It also aims to develop the capabilities of ambitious Saudi youth by providing job opportunities, which contributes to developing their professional skills and enhancing their position in the labor market and opening global export markets, which enhances the Kingdom’s position as a leading industrial center in the electric bicycle industry.
