40 Turkish companies explore export opportunities in Saudi market

A delegation from the Turkish Exporters Association, which includes 40 Turkish companies, explored export opportunities in the Saudi market and partnerships with Saudi investors in 10 economic sectors, during the Saudi-Turkish business meeting organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers today at its headquarters in Riyadh, with the participation of a number of Saudi companies.

The Turkish delegation included companies operating in the sectors of mining, chemicals, food, services, iron, metal products, and textiles, in addition to electricity and electronics, equipment, machinery, grains, legumes, oil seeds, fruits, and vegetables.

The visit of the Turkish Exporters Association aims to explore promising export opportunities in the Kingdom, at a time when Turkey seeks to increase its exports to countries around the world, which amounted to $255.8 billion last year, and plans to raise them to $400 billion in 2028, in cooperation with exporters to accelerate the pace of foreign trade.

It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Turkey amounted to 25.4 billion riyals in 2023, achieving a growth of 15.5%, of which Saudi exports to Turkey represent 15.6 billion riyals, while Turkish imports to the Kingdom represent 9.8 billion riyals.
