The UAE topped the number of foreign companies participating in the Cityscape Global exhibition held during the period from 11 to 14 November in Riyadh, with 50 companies out of a total number of 455 exhibiting companies, with 244 Saudi companies participating in the exhibition, while the number of foreign companies reached 211 exhibiting companies.
Britain came in second place in terms of the participation of foreign companies in the exhibition with 24 exhibiting companies, followed by Egypt with 18 companies, then Bahrain with 16 companies, Russia with 13 companies, China with 12 companies, Turkey with 11 companies, America with 10 companies, and Thailand with 7 exhibiting companies.
The real estate sector in the Kingdom has witnessed an increase in the volume of large investments in recent years, in infrastructure projects, luxury residential complexes and giant commercial projects, in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and develop the real estate sector in a sustainable manner.
The global exhibition showcases this major transformation in the real estate market, and is expected to include many mega projects supervised by local and foreign companies, in addition to the participation of mega projects such as NEOM, Diriyah and the Red Sea Project, which represent a qualitative shift in the concept of urban development in the Kingdom, some of which include building sustainable smart cities to improve the quality of life. The exhibition provides local and international investors with the opportunity to learn about distinguished real estate projects in various sectors, including residential, commercial and hotel, and will be a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge between major real estate developers, investors and government officials, which opens the way for more cooperation and investment in the Saudi real estate sector. The second edition of (Cityscape Global 2024) focuses on recent developments in artificial intelligence and technical innovation in the real estate sector, in addition to focusing on digitization, smart cities, sustainable development and future destinations, and advanced real estate technologies that enhance the sector’s investments and innovations. The exhibition also includes a program to organize the Future of Life Summit, Real Estate Horizons, the Founding Investors Forum, Design and Architecture, and the Real Estate Technology Innovation Arena.
