Trump: Musk-led Commission on Government Efficiency to Issue Reports on Streamlining Government

US President-elect Donald Trump said the Commission on Government Efficiency, to be chaired by billionaire Elon Musk, will issue reports as part of its mission to streamline the US government.

“They will issue individual reports and eventually a consolidated report,” Trump said in a speech, in the first new details about the commission’s findings since it was announced earlier this week.

He noted that the commission provides advice and guidance from outside the government on shrinking the size of the administration, streamlining regulations, cutting spending and restructuring federal agencies.
