Saudi Electricity Company reported an 18% year-on-year increase in net profit for the third quarter of 2024, reaching SAR 6.8 billion, up from SAR 5.8 billion in the same quarter last year, following the announcement of preliminary financial results for the period ending September 30, 2024 (nine months).
Operating profit for Q3 rose 15.2% to SAR 8.2 billion, compared to SAR 7.18 billion in the previous year’s same quarter. For the 9-month period, net profit totaled SAR 12.1 billion, reflecting a 17.3% increase from SAR 10.3 billion last year.
Earnings per share reached SAR 1.33 in the current period, up from SAR 1.11 in the same period last year.
