Oil prices were mixed on Friday amid renewed supply disruption risks as Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah traded accusations of violating a ceasefire, while the OPEC+ meeting was postponed, leaving investors on tenterhooks as the alliance decides on output policy.
Brent crude futures were down 7 cents, or 0.1%, at $73.21 a barrel by 0232 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were up 38 cents, or 0.55%, from Wednesday’s close at $69.10.
Trading remained subdued due to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, which closed U.S. financial markets.
