Equipment House on Dec. 04: Appeal Court Reviewing NUPCO’s Objection to Pay SAR 61 Million to Subsidiary

Scientific & Medical Equipment House Company announced on Sunday the issuance of a and receipt of the Appeal Court Ruling Decision regarding the final judgment obligating the National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) to pay the Roaa Al Himayah Company (a subsidiary) about 61 million riyals. It was referred to another appeals circuit to study (NUPCO’s) objection to the initial ruling issued by the Thirteenth Circuit of the Commercial Court in Riyadh on August 13, 2023, and to re-examine the case papers, and the date of the next appeal session has been set for Wednesday, Dec. 04.

This comes in reference to the announcement of the Scientific & Medical Equipment House Company on Oct. 17, 2023 regarding the issuance and receipt of the Appeal Court Ruling No. (4530302736), duly certified and endorsed with an enforceable formula by the Fourth Appeal Circuit of the Commercial Court in Riyadh, where the circuit ruled to issue the final ruling and obligate the National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) to pay Roaa Al Himayah Company (a subsidiary) the following:

1- An amount of 60.56 million riyals.

2- An amount of 135 thousand riyals for expert fees in this case.

3- An amount of 500 thousand riyals for attorney fees.

The judgment was submitted to the Enforcement Court for implementation.
