Tesla CEO Elon Musk has unveiled a new self-driving taxi called the Cybercab, showing off a low-slung, silver, two-seater vehicle with no steering wheels or pedals.
Musk said at a conference to unveil the vehicle that the company has 21 of these vehicles, and a total of 50 “self-driving” vehicles.
Musk did not provide any details about where exactly Tesla plans to produce the vehicles, but he said that consumers will be able to buy the car for under $30,000, adding that the company hopes to produce the Cybercab before 2027.
