The launch of these initiatives comes as part of the Public Security strategic plans, which aim to improve security work and enhance the security and safety system, in addition to improving the quality of security services provided to citizens, residents, and visitors. These initiatives seek to increase the effectiveness of security coverage to keep pace with urban expansion, and achieve coordination and integration between relevant parties, which enhances the Kingdom’s ability to effectively confront security challenges. This superiority clearly reflects the Kingdom’s success in achieving a significant decrease in crime rates, becoming one of the safest countries in the world. The 2023 Country Safety Index is a global classification that shows the levels of safety in different countries based on crime rates and other security factors. Countries that score high on this index are considered among the safest, while countries that score low are considered more prone to crime and security risks.
