Oil pares gains, Brent hits $77.62 a barrel
Oil prices pared gains in early trading on Monday, after posting their biggest weekly gain in more than a year on Friday.
Brent crude futures fell 43 cents, or 0.5%, to $77.62 a barrel.
WTI crude futures fell 35 cents, or 0.5%, to $74.03 a barrel.
Brent rose more than 8% last week, its biggest weekly gain since January 2023, while WTI rose 9.1%, its biggest weekly gain since March 2023.
