Japanese stocks close higher on tech shares
Japanese stocks closed higher on Wednesday, boosted by tech shares tracking their U.S. peers and improved market sentiment on renewed hopes for China’s stimulus plans.
The Nikkei average rose 0.87 percent to 39,277.96, while the broader Topix index added 0.3 percent to close at 2,707.24.
