Aramco Team Championship kicks off in Shenzhen, China

Shenzhen, China, will host the Aramco Team Championship Series presented by the Public Investment Fund from October 4 to 6, 2024.

The tournament, which will be held at the Mission Hills Resort, is part of the Women’s World Golf Championship Series, organized by Golf Saudi in cooperation with the Ladies European Tour, and aims to empower women’s golf globally, especially in the Asian region.

The tournament features a system that combines team and individual competitions, with 28 teams competing, each of which includes three professional players, in addition to an amateur player, all of whom contribute to the team’s final result, while the total prize money amounts to one million dollars, divided equally between the team and individual competitions. This innovative system that combines teams and individual competitions is one of the distinctive features of the Aramco Team Championship Series, as it gives amateurs a unique opportunity to compete alongside professional players at the highest level.
