Mobily Board Approves 9% Cash Dividend for H1 2024

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) announced on Sunday that its Board of Directors has approved the distribution of interim cash dividends to shareholders for the first half of 2024, totaling SAR 693 million. The dividend per share is set at 0.90 riyals, representing a 9% distribution of the nominal value of each share.

According to the company’s statement, 770 million shares are eligible for dividends, which will be distributed on October 6, 2024.

Mobily also noted that non-resident shareholders will be subject to a 5% withholding tax on dividends, in accordance with Article 68 of the Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Implementing Regulations. The tax will be applied when the dividends are transferred or credited to their bank accounts.
