Aljazira Takaful Assembly Approves Cash Dividend Distribution for 2023 at SAR 0.30 per Share

Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company announced on Monday the approval of the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting (First Meeting) on the Board of Directors’ recommendation to distribute cash dividends amounting to 19,8 million riyals to shareholders for the fiscal year 2023, at (0.30 riyals) per share, which represents (3%) of the nominal value of the share. The eligibility is for shareholders who own shares on the day of the General Assembly convening and who are registered in the Company’s shareholders’ register with the Securities Depository Centre Company (Depository Centre) at the end of the second trading day following the date of the Company’s General Assembly. The date of dividend distribution will begin on Oct. 10, 2024.

It was also approved to amend the Company’s Bylaws to comply with the new Companies’ Law, and to rearrange and number the articles of the Law to be compatible with the proposed amendments, in addition to amending the Corporate Governance Manual.
