A high-level delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers will begin a visit to Azerbaijan and Georgia tomorrow, during which it will hold high-level meetings and discussions with heads and senior officials in the governments of the two countries and the private sector to discuss investment opportunities and sign a number of important agreements and trade partnerships.
The delegation, headed by the Federation President Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi, includes more than (65) businessmen and women representing various economic sectors, and representatives of some government agencies.
The delegation will begin its visit program in Azerbaijan by holding a meeting of the Saudi-Azerbaijani Business Council, a joint business forum, and bilateral meetings between business owners. In Georgia, the delegation will hold a meeting of the Saudi-Georgian Business Council, a joint business forum, and bilateral meetings between representatives of companies from both sides.
These meetings shed light on investment opportunities in the Kingdom, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, the business environment, and partnership opportunities between business sectors in various economic fields.
The Federation is counting on this visit to increase the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and these two countries, as it did not exceed 50 million riyals with Azerbaijan and 162 million riyals with Georgia in 2023, which is a strong indicator of the existence of many potential investment opportunities that the visit will reveal. It is worth noting that the Federation of Chambers is leading, through its series of foreign visits, which recently included eight countries, efforts to open new markets and opportunities and increase the volume of trade and investment exchanges with countries of the world, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
