Southern Province Cement’s profits rise to 30 million riyals during Q2 by 58%

The net profit of Southern Cement Company increased during the second quarter to 30 million riyals compared to 19 million riyals in the same quarter last year by 58%, following the announcement today of the preliminary financial results for the period ending June 30, 2024 (six months).

The operating profit amounted to 33 million riyals in the second quarter compared to 23 million riyals in the same quarter of the previous year, an increase of 43%.

The net profit in the current period amounted to 92 million riyals compared to 68 million riyals in the same period last year, an increase of 35%.

The earnings per share in the current period reached 0.66 riyals compared to 0.49 riyals in the same period last year.
