Saudi Arabia Wins Global Quality Standards Award for Sustainable Development for ‘Your Agricultural Guide’ App for 2024

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, has won the Global Quality Standards Award for Sustainable Development for the “Your Agricultural Guide” app for 2024. The prize, awarded by the World Federation of Friends of the United Nations, marks the app as the best governmental initiative in the agricultural sector for 2024.
The award was presented during the “Empowering the Future in the Middle East” event titled, “Advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for a Prosperous Region.”
The Kingdom has received the award in recognition of its efforts to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. The Kingdom has leveraged all its resources to promote sustainable development across various sectors, enhance environmental and natural resource conservation, and establish itself as a regional and global leader in sustainable development.
The Sustainable Development Goals Conference in the Middle East aim to address the unique challenges and opportunities facing Middle Eastern countries in achieving the United Nations SDGs, as well as to foster cooperation, exchange best practices, and stimulate action towards sustainable development.
