Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm SGC E&C said it has signed a 490 billion won ($366 million) deal with Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) for a propylene and polypropylene plant project.
The move comes after the Korean firm signed a 260 billion won ($190 million) deal for an ethylene vinyl acetate plant project in Saudi Arabia on Aug. 7.
Propylene and polypropylene plants refer to the production of propylene by removing hydrogen from propane.
The company is set to handle all construction stages including engineering, procurement and construction.
SGC E&C has won deals worth a total of 1.4 trillion won in Saudi Arabia this year.
