Japan’s Nikkei closes up 0.58%
Japanese stocks rose at the end of trading on Wednesday, with the 225-issue Nikkei index closing up 0.58%, or 209.92 points, at 36,442.43.
The broader Topix index rose 1.11%, or 28.35 points, to close at 2,581.90.
