IEA maintains 2024 oil demand growth forecast
The International Energy Agency maintained its 2024 oil demand growth forecast but revised its 2025 outlook down, citing the impact of weak Chinese consumption on economic growth.
The agency maintained its 2024 oil demand growth forecast at 970,000 barrels per day (bpd) and revised its 2025 oil demand growth forecast to 950,000 bpd.
