United Cooperative Insurance Group Company revealed a 72.5% decline in net profit after zakat for shareholders during the second quarter to 2.8 million riyals compared to 10.5 million riyals in the same quarter of last year. This came after announcing today the preliminary results for the six-month period ending on June 30, 2024.
Net profit from investment results amounted to 10.4 million riyals in the second quarter compared to 8.7 million riyals in the same quarter of the previous year, an increase of 19.7%.
Total equity (after excluding non-controlling interests) amounted to 282.2 million riyals in the 6-month period compared to 200.5 million riyals in the same period of last year, an increase of 40.7%.
Earnings per share in the current period reached 0.96 riyals compared to 0.48 riyals in the same period of last year.
