Saudi Budget Q2: Actual Expenditures Increase 15% to SAR 368.9 Billion

State budget data for the second quarter revealed that total expenditures increased to SAR 368.9 billion, an increase of 15% compared to the corresponding period in 2023.

This is due to the government’s continued provision of social support to those eligible, in addition to continuing to develop the level of public services provided to citizens and residents, and continuing to implement many projects and strategies that will achieve positive structural changes that will lead to expanding and diversifying the economic base.

Total revenues during the second quarter of 2024 amounted to approximately 353.6 billion riyals, recording an increase of 12% compared to what they were in the second quarter of 2023, which amounted to 314.8 billion riyals.
