Natural gas futures decline in Europe

Natural gas futures prices ended today’s trading in Europe with a slight decline after recovering most of their early losses, when the decline in supplies from Norway reduced the optimism that emerged due to the gradual start of operation of one of the main liquefied natural gas export facilities in the United States of America.

Bloomberg Agency indicated that the prices of European standard futures contracts declined by up to 3.3% at the beginning of today’s trading before recovering most of their losses.

The American Freeport LNG LNG terminal resumed some of its activities that had been suspended due to Hurricane Beryl weeks ago, as it led to damage to natural gas supplies coming from Norway to other European countries, due to extended maintenance work at gas facilities.
