Japan’s unemployment rate fell to 2.6% in June, after adjusting for seasonal variations, official data released Tuesday by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications showed.
At the same time, the number of jobs available to job seekers stood at 1.23 jobs per job seeker, compared to 1.24 jobs in the previous month.
Japan’s labor force participation rate stood at 63.7% in June, compared to analysts’ expectations of a rise to 63.4%, compared to 63.6% in May.
