Gold prices stabilized today, Tuesday, as investors awaited comments from US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and jobs data for further signals on interest rates.
Gold recorded $2,332.27 per ounce in spot transactions, while US futures contracts rose 0.2%, recording $2,342.70 per ounce.
As for other precious metals, silver fell in spot transactions 0.1% to $29.41 per ounce, platinum settled at $978.20 per ounce, and palladium rose 0.8% to record $978.80.
