GCC Commercial Arbitration Center and Al-Ahsa Center for Commercial Arbitration Sign Cooperation Agreement

The Gulf Cooperation Council Commercial Arbitration Center (GCCCAC) and Al-Ahsa Center for Commercial Arbitration (ACCA) signed a cooperation agreement to exchange expertise and knowledge and to organize training programs and specialized events designed to boost the role of arbitration as an effective process for resolving commercial and investment disputes.
The signing ceremony of the agreement took place at the headquarters of the GCCCAC in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of GCCCAC Secretary-General Dr. Eng. Kamal Al Hamad the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACCA, Dr. Yousef Al Jaber, and a number of officials from both sides.
The agreement aims to establish a strategic partnership between the two parties to enhance cooperation in the fields of arbitration and alternative processes of resolving disputes, exchanging technical expertise, and organizing training programs, seminars, and relevant scientific conferences to qualify arbitrators and experts in the field of dispute settlement.
This agreement comes as part of the efforts of the two centers to spread the arbitration culture and knowledge exchange, enhance professional standards and practices in the field of commercial arbitration, and implement high-quality training programs to qualify specialized cadres in this vital field.
