Computer systems crashed all over the world due to a defect in Microsoft systems

Computer problems have caused widespread disruption around the world.

According to Reuters, Berlin and Hamburg airports – among other airports – were forced to temporarily stop air traffic with the beginning of the holiday season.

According to media reports, work was disrupted in banks, companies, and hospitals, in addition to air traffic in other countries. It is suspected that the cause of the malfunctions was due to an error in a software update by the IT security company CrowdStrike.

One of the energy companies in Australia attributed its failures to that update. CrowdStrike reported problems in a letter to its customers, according to the technology website The Verge.

Media outlets such as Bloomberg reported that the error in “CrowdStrike” in turn led to the failure of Microsoft’s programs. The American software giant previously reported problems with its .365 cloud service
