Baker Hughes: Oil rigs around the world rose to 1,707 rigs in June

Baker Hughes data showed that the number of oil exploration rigs worldwide rose by 32 rigs to 1,707 rigs in June, from 1,675 rigs in May.

The Oil Services Company report also revealed that the number of exploration rigs in the Middle East increased by only one rig to 342 rigs during June on a monthly basis, and it also increased compared to the same period last year.

The number of oil and gas exploration rigs around the world (excluding America and Canada) also increased by 4 rigs to 957 rigs on a monthly basis during June.
