Tawakkalna Serves more than 32 Million Users within Four Years

The Tawakkalna application, a comprehensive national app, has achieved global success over the course of more than four years. It is one of the most significant technical initiatives of the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), dedicated to integrating services among government agencies in the Kingdom and crystallizing these services into a single application. This app provides over 315 services that benefit more than 32 million users, including citizens, residents, and visitors of various nationalities, particularly pilgrims and Umrah performers.

This national accomplishment is a direct result of the consistent and unwavering support that SDAIA receives from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the SDAIA Board of Directors, contributing to the optimal utilization of data and artificial intelligence technologies at the national level.

The Tawakkalna app offers services in Arabic, English, Filipino, Indonesian, Bangladeshi, Urdu, and Hindi, ensuring that all pilgrims can fully benefit from its features, regardless of their language. These services include notifications for the Hajj season, updated weather conditions in Makkah and Madinah in collaboration with the National Center of Meteorology, access to the Holy Quran, Qibla direction, and prayer times in cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.

Furthermore, the Tawakkalna app, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, allows users to view their digital Hajj card (Nusuk). It also facilitates entry permits to the holy sites for vehicles and individuals working in Hajj through the “My Cards” feature on the “My Information” page and issues Umrah permits for users holding Hajj permits during the Hajj season via the Rituals portal. Additionally, it provides “help me” services, a distress call feature, and displays the volunteer card for volunteers in collaboration with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
