“Riyadh Air”, “Air China” sign a strategic partnership to facilitate travel between Riyadh and Beijing

“Riyadh Air”, the new national air carrier that adopts the latest digital technologies in the field of aviation and wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, announced the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding with the exclusive national carrier of China, “Air China”, on the sidelines of the annual general assembly meeting of the Air Transport Association. He said: “This memorandum of understanding constitutes the beginning of a mutually beneficial partnership between two national carriers linking two prominent capitals at the global level. With a focus on expanding the network of routes covered by the two air carriers and enhancing cooperation horizons, we are keen to work and coordinate jointly, achieve successes, and reach the desired results in the long term.”

The new national carrier aspires to be the most advanced digital airline in the world by connecting the capital, Riyadh, to more than 100 global destinations by 2030, adopting the best sustainable practices, improving travel experiences, and establishing entirely new standards in hospitality, reliability, and comfort. By playing a fundamental role in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Riyadh Airlines works to diversify the Saudi economy, provide more jobs, and contribute to the Kingdom’s non-oil gross domestic product.
