“Chemanol” signs deal with “SATORP” to supply methanol product for 20 years to Amiral project

Methanol Chemicals (Chemanol) announced today, Monday, that it had signed an agreement with Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) to supply the methanol product for a period of 20 years (at a rate of 100,000 metric tons annually), with commercial operation and supply starting from the end of 2027 AD.

The company said in a statement today on “Tadawul” that the financial impact of this agreement is difficult to determine currently due to the difference in market conditions and product prices at the time of the start of supply, and Chemanol will later announce any fundamental developments or developments in this regard.
