Finance Minister to Lead Saudi Delegation at Saudi-Chinese Meetings in Beijing

 Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan will lead the Saudi delegation participating in the Saudi-Chinese meetings scheduled to take place from May 20th to May 21st, 2024, in the Chinese capital of Beijing. The delegation also includes Vice Minister of Finance Abdulmohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf, along with several officials from the Ministry of Finance, the National Center for Privatization (NCP), the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority (CMA), the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA), the National Development Fund (NDF), the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), and the National Infrastructure Fund (INFRA).
Al-Jadaan will co-chair, alongside Chinese Finance Minister Lan Foan, the third meeting of the subcommittee of the high-level Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee on Finance. He will also participate in a roundtable meeting organized by the NCP in collaboration with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Moreover, the Saudi vice minister Al-Khalaf, along with the Chinese Vice Finance Minister Liao Min, will co-chair a roundtable meeting hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Finance and organized by the China Development Bank in collaboration with China Investment Corporation.
Al-Jadaan will also meet with several ministers, presidents, and investors in China to discuss the latest economic and financial developments, as well as topics of mutual interest. They will also explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom in line with Saudi Vision 2030. These meetings are part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and enhance relations between the Kingdom and China across various fields, aiming to achieve global economic growth.
