The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) finalized the Promising Innovative Enterprises Global Expansion Project, organized over a period of 18 months and through which it supported 20 local companies to visit the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Singapore.
The visits resulted in the signing of agreements between local and international companies to enhance cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship.
Participating enterprises also attended exhibitions and workshops under the programs and specialized meetings arranged for them with entrepreneurs and startup companies. The companies visited the largest technical conferences and international business incubators, with the aim of facilitating the access of local enterprises to global markets for expanding and increasing investment opportunities.
Monsha’at seeks to empower entrepreneurs by linking them to the global system of innovation and entrepreneurship, in addition to motivating foreign investors to invest in national enterprises and educating local enterprises about promising opportunities. This enabled the signing of four agreements in various fields between local enterprises and their international counterparts and attracted more than 50 potential investors for startup companies, which will reflect positively on the expansion of the local market and its global reach.
