Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan, confirmed that the day is approaching when he will step down from managing the largest bank in the country.
“The timeline is no longer 5 years,” the CEO said during the bank’s annual investor day, according to CNBC.
In 2023, Jamie Dimon received a 4% bonus to his salary, bringing his total salary to $36 million.
The salary granted to the American banker, known as the “King of Wall Street,” is the largest in his career history since he took office about 20 years ago.
Forbes Business magazine estimates his fortune at 1.5 billion pounds sterling. Dimon, 67, has been leading the major bank since December 2005.
