European indices fell at the beginning of today’s trading, as global markets are under pressure amid increasing bond yields.
In terms of trading, the Stoxx 600 index fell by about 0.1% to 512 points. This is after recording its worst sessions during the month in the past two sessions.
While the German DAX fell by 0.4%, recording 18,407 points, the British FTSE fell by 0.2%, at 8,169 points, while the French CAC rose by less than 0.1%, to 7,937 points.
As for the performance of the European stock market sectors, health care rose by about 0.7%, while the mining sector declined by 1.6%.
Markets are awaiting the release of inflation data in the euro zone tomorrow, Friday, as well as the personal consumption expenditures index in America.
The release of these data comes amid a state of uncertainty about the future of interest rates in both Europe and America.
