Saudi Cable Announces Resignation and Appointment of New Board Member

Saudi Cable Company announced on Sunday the resignation of Eng. Abdulaziz Saleh Abalkhail, an independent member of the Board of Directors, effective from April 7, 2024. His departure is due to a change in work conditions, as he has joined another company whose regulations prohibit participation on the boards or committees of listed companies. This change prevents him from continuing his role with Saudi Cable Company’s Board of Directors.

Following this resignation, the Board has appointed Eng. Abdullah Odeh Alghabin as an independent member to fill the vacancy, effective April 13, 2024. Eng. Alghabin will complete the current board term, which concludes on April 3, 2027.

Eng. Abdullah Alghabin brings a wealth of experience, with over 30 years in managing industrial, public, and private companies. His career spans various senior roles in production, project management, business development, and corporate leadership across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. He is also recognized as an administrative and engineering consultant.
