Arabian Internet and Communications Services Company (solutions) announced Sunday that it has signed a framework agreement with the Digital Centers for Data and Telecommunications Company (Center3) to design and build the infrastructure for POD’s (data center halls) and MMR’s (data collection rooms).
It explained in a statement on Tadawul that the value of the contract is SAR 150 mln as a maximum, with a term of three years, indicating that the financial impact will appear on the company’s financial statements starting from Q2 of the year 2024.
It moreover indicated that the details of the contract are as follows:
• Purchasing, designing and implementing cabins and their accessories.
• Procurement, design and implementation of structured cabling.
• Purchasing, designing and implementing HAC doors (specialized insulation doors) and their accessories.
• Procure, design and implement DCiM (Data Center Infrastructure Systems) solution and related integrations
• Procure, design and implement active networks to support the DCiM solution and other solutions if applicable.
• Procurement, design and implementation of additional equipment items such as cages, CCTV cameras, additional cable trays, cable baskets etc. as per requirements.
It noted as well that Saudi Telecom Company (STC) is considered the largest shareholder in both Solutions and Center 3 companies, as it owns 79% of Solutions shares and 100% of Center 3 shares.
