GACO: Appeals Chamber Upholds Decision, Requires Payment of Additional SAR 3.7 Million for 2018

On Tuesday, Al-Qassim Investment Holding Company disclosed that it had received a decision from its zakat advisor, The Appeals Department, rejecting the petition to reconsider the committee’s prior decision. Consequently, the company is obligated to pay an additional sum of 3,745,135 riyals for the year 2018. This development follows the company’s previous announcement on January 23, 2023, on the Tadawul website, regarding its petition against the committee’s decision to require additional payments for the aforementioned year.
