3rd Saudi Media Forum, FOMEX to Kick off Monday, Engaging over 200 Companies

Under the patronage of the Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, the third Saudi Media Forum will commence on Monday under the theme: “Media in a World Taking Shape.”

 The forum is organized by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) in collaboration with the Saudi Journalists Association. It will take place in Riyadh over three days, engaging more than 2,000 prominent media professionals, academics, experts, and specialists, both locally and internationally, as well as 80 media entities.

 The opening event at the forum will be the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX), the largest specialized media exhibition in the Middle East, featuring the participation of over 200 local and international companies. These companies will come together to present the latest technologies and innovations across various media fields throughout the forum’s duration.

 FOMEX will host specialized and high-quality workshops conducted by a group of experts, academics, and practitioners excelling in diverse media fields. The exhibition aims to showcase significant developments and technologies in the media industry, fostering the building and enhancement of partnerships and the exchange of experiences.

 The President of the Saudi Media Forum and CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Mohammed Al-Harthi, emphasized that FOMEX combines artistic, technical, and media aspects.

 The exhibition reinforces Riyadh’s position as a hub for international media and communication identity and highlights the Kingdom’s pioneering targets across various fields, in alignment with the goals of Vision 2030, he added.

 He pointed out that the exhibition contributes to shaping the future of media, enhancing creative thinking and sustainability. It serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge and building successful partnerships that contribute to the development of local and global media companies and institutions.

 Al-Harthi noted that the exhibition will include a showcase of modern media experiences, the activation of modern television and radio production, and keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the sector through attracting leading global companies and expertise.
