US stocks open higher after strong growth data
Wall Street’s main indexes rose at the open on Thursday after strong growth raised hopes for lower inflation, while Tesla shares fell.
According to Reuters, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 56.18 points, or 0.15%, to 37,862.57.
The Standard & Poor’s Index rose 18.11 points, or 0.37 percent, at 4,886.66, while the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 73.70 points, or 0.48, to 15,555.62 at the open.
