The American parcel transport company FedEx said that its air freight operations did not witness a major shift due to the disturbances in the Red Sea, which added about two weeks to the ship’s travel time.
According to Reuters, CEO Raj Subramaniam said on Sunday, “Sea freight represents 90% of global trade, so any small change will have an impact, but we have not yet seen a major impact,” adding that air freight prices remain stable.
