‎“ACWA Power”: Commercial operation of final phase of Sudair ‎solar photovoltaic power station project starts

ACWA Power announced that it received from the Saudi Energy Procurement Company on January 3, 2024, the commercial operation certificate for the third and final phase of the Sudair solar photovoltaic power station project.

The third phase included adding 25% of the total production capacity of the project, and upon completion of commercial operation of this phase, the station will reach its full production capacity of 1,500 megawatts.

It is worth noting that ACWA Power owns a 35% stake in Sudair Al-Oula Renewable Energy Company.

The company expects the financial impact of operating the third phase to appear during the first quarter of 2024.
