With Participation of MEWA, Korea International Water Week 2023 Concludes

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the two-day Korea International Water Week 2023, held under the slogan “Sustainable Water Management for Man and Nature,” and concluded today.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shaibani, Undersecretary for Water Department, headed the ministry’s delegation to the high level event, aiming to contribute with stakeholders at the global level to develop inspiring solutions to water challenges at the regional and international levels.
The Saudi delegation’s participation is also designed to share with the Korean side ways of developing practical plans to implement water solutions, and focus on conducting extensive discussions on how to pursue these solutions in the long term, which contribute to developing a common global vision that is consistent with the United Nations sustainable development goals, as well as the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
During the trip, the Saudi delegation reviewed with its Korean counterpart ways to enhance joint cooperation in modern technologies in water management and treatment, in addition to meeting with a number of officials, specialists and heads of companies working in the water fields.
